Product Overview

Our nickel ingots are primary refining materials produced via electrolytic deposition. They are designed as an elemental grain addition for stainless steel metallurgy, nickel-based superalloys, surface electroplating, and chemical synthesis for EV battery precursors (NiSO₄).

Unlike scrap-recycled or blended-grade alternatives, these primary ingots feature stable chemistry and low secondary element profiles, supporting predictable melting behavior and minimizing yield loss during induction furnace operations.

Purity Range: 99.5% to 99.99% elemental Ni (including Co).

Impurity Control: Strict limits on sulfur, carbon, and low-melting-point elements to prevent thermal cracking in downstream alloys.

Supply Capacity: 50,000 Metric Tons annually.

Primary Applications

Stainless Steel

Core alloying component for 300-series (e.g., 304, 316) and duplex grades to establish the austenitic phase and improve corrosion resistance.

Superalloys

Base matrix element for high-temperature nickel alloys used in gas turbines and industrial aerospace engineering.

Battery Chemistry

High-purity feedstock for chemical dissolution into battery-grade nickel sulfate, a precursor for lithium-ion cathode active materials (NCM/NCA).

Electroplating

Used as high-purity sacrificial anodes for uniform electrodeposited protective layers.

FAQ

Q: How do you verify chemical consistency across different lots?

A: Every induction furnace batch undergoes Optical Emission Spectrometry (OES) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) testing prior to pouring. No material is released unless it falls strictly within the specified grade limits.

Q: Are your facilities open to technical audits?

A: Yes. We accept scheduled physical facility audits by your QA personnel or appointed third-party inspectors. Virtual live inspections can also be arranged.

Q: Can this material be used directly for battery-grade nickel sulfate production?

A: Yes. Our Ni-9999 grade restricts trace element cross-contamination (specifically Fe, Cu, and As), allowing clean chemical dissolution required for high-nickel EV battery applications.

Q: How are your bulk contracts priced?

A: Long-term supply agreements can be structured using flexible pricing formulas pegged to the current London Metal Exchange (LME) nickel cash price index.
